We can't take all the credit for this garden. The homeowners are both architects. The deck was built by the builders with their new extension. The garden was already full of mature shrubs in the beds and in pots. But beyond the deck the garden lacked structure so we levelled the lawn and used blue grey engineering bricks for the step, path and lawn edge, giving a more functional lawn space, with improved access down the garden.
